Supporting Children Through the Criminal Justice System After CSE Fostering
This course walks professionals through the investigation and prosecution process from disclosure to sentencing in a child sexual exploitation case. Using real experiences from children who were sexually exploited and then reported their abuse or went to court to give evidence against their abusers, this course will give professionals a unique view from the perspective of children.
The course will provide advice and information about best practice, victim and witness charter, and how to ensure that children have their voices heard and their mental health and wellbeing protected throughout this distressing process.
